
Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all other dance forms. It teaches alignment, placement and balance. It develops the fundamentals of dance through control, poise, precision, fluency and grace using proper technique and style.

Jazz
Jazz explores body isolations of the head, shoulders, ribcage, feet and arms that are utilized through turns, jumps and floor work. Jazz technique is based on the natural movement of the body and is designed to increase body control and coordination. Intermediate and Advanced classes require continuous ballet training.

Tap
Tap emphasizes the development and strength of basic tap technique and terminology. It teaches the importance of rhythm, coordination, and clarity of sounds by producing beats with specialized shoes.

Lyrical
Lyrical/Contemporary is designed to condition the body for strength, coordination, flexibility sustained extensions and expressive emotion while understanding the importance of musicality. Intermediate and Advanced Classes require continuous ballet training.

Hip Hop
Hip hop dancing covers a large range of styles and specific moves and techniques, including elements of of poppin', locking, breaking, and krumping. It teaches a valuable understanding and appreciation of musicality and rythym through basic movements and terminology.

Pointe
Pointe is an extension of ballet and entails a dancer to perform upon her toes. It requires continuous ballet training and great strength in the legs and core of the dancer's body. Continuous ballet training is required. Students must be first evaluated and trained in pre-pointe.
